    Hi Kevin,

I’m not able to find a 64bit version of VSAE. I tried using the x86 version which seems to work to build a MP. But when trying to run the MP Simulator it complains about unabling to find the SCOM agent on the machine. I’m testing from Server 2016 which has the 64bit version of the agent installed. I guess that could be the problem ?

It’s also out for Visual Studio 2019 now as well, but when I try to enter the configuration xml screen, I get an error message saying ”Must disconnect the specified Child from the current parent visual before attaching to new parent visual’. Any chance you are familiar with this and know a fix?

Internally, this issue is known from Visual Studio 2019 from version 16.5 onwards. It is a problem in Visual Studio.

Visual Studio team suggested to have customers submit feedback on this through “Report a problem” in Visual Studio itself, this will increase their prioritization of a fix.

Thanks for the reply. My version was 16.4.5 and still occurred. I upvoted a report by typaul and included my information.

Guess I’ll have to use those fragments instead. 🙂
