Keep this in mind when searching for an object when creating a report. If you don’t give very specific search criteria… or if you just select “Add Object” then select “Search” with no criteria…. the result set is limited to 500 objects returned. Therefore – if the object you are looking for doesn’t show up – make sure you are specific enough in your search.
To demonstrate this – I created a performance report, and clicked “Add Object” then hit “Search” and then added all objects to my report…. the report builder will show use the number of objects selected on the right:
